List of Things to Bring


1. GB Polo shirt (no need for nametag), shorts and track shoes (wear it on the reporting day)
2. School-based T-shirts (eg P.E / CCA / House T-shirts – at least 4 pieces)
3. Home Clothes (2 sets -for sleeping)
4. Shorts (at least 4 pairs)
5. Track pants (at least 2 pairs – for night use & activities)
6. Sweater (for night use)
7. Underwear (at least 3 sets)
8. Socks (at least 3 pairs)
9. Strap sandals / slippers(for use in the campsite)

Dear girls,

I am having a little technical difficulty in uploading the consent form for the camp at the moment and will do so once I am able to.

Please note that bus seats for the journey there are limited. If family members turn up without notice, there may not be enough seats.

Hi girls!

Welcome back to a brand new term!

Here are some details for the outing next week:

Time: 9am - 1245pm (please note change from usual parade timing)

We will be visiting the Pasir Ris Kids' Kampung as suggested by some of you!

It will be a fun outing and here's what you'll be doing there:
1) Longkang fishing (please check if your parents allow you to bring the fish you caught home before your go for the trip!)
2) Pet show
3) Party celebration!

I will be posting up the rules that you have discussed and come up with in the last parade in my next post. Look out for it and remember to abide by the rules when we are there!

Our JLs in action this sat

For those of you who do not know yet, JLs stand for JUNIOR LEADERS!

P5 girls who are selected for the JLTC (Junior Leadership Training Camp) every year have to go through a 2D1N camp where they pick up skills to lead the company when they get back.

This year, we sent 6 girls (Geneveieve, Justine, Lynette, Taegen, Taedra, Lan Ran) to the camp and the girls will be putting their skills to good use in Term 3 as they lead singspiration & games!

This saturday will be their very first session...

Let's encourage them and give our best in the activities they are leading! =)))

GB Community Day (Jul 9)

We had a blast at the GB Community Day held last saturday. =)

It was a HUGE event with about 1000 elderly and almost as many GB girls from all over Singapore... Our First Lady Mrs Nathan (President SR Nathan's wife) also came to grace the event!

We also saw many little acts of sweetness and kindness as our girls attended to the elderly that day. Thanks girl for showing love, kindness, joy & patience to the elderly you were serving!

Sleeping bag query

Dear all,

Many parents have asked me if it is compulsory to bring a sleeping bag, and I would like to clarify this point.

It is NOT compulsory to bring a sleeping bag as beds are provided. However, as the vendor has shared during the briefing, it serves more as a precautionary measure especially for people with sensitive skin.

Update on overseas camp

Dear girls and parents,

It is most heartening to see your enthusiastic response to the overseas camp this year.

All 60 places for the camp have been taken up as of thursday, 130pm.


As such, we will no longer be accepting new applications. If you are still interested, we can put you on the waiting list if you submit your forms by this coming Monday, and I will inform you if there are any withdrawals. Forms submitted after Monday will not be considered for the waiting list.

For those who did not make it in time, don't be sad. There's always next year to look forward to! =)

Please try to be in school by 730am so that we can do your hair. In addition, when you are trying to find the video on youtube, follow this set of instructions:

1. type the link given to you just now.
2. press search
3. you will realise that you may not find any video, fret not, look on.
4. click on search options
5. under the "features" (right-hand side), click on HD (high definition)
6. BINGO, you will definitely find it

Timing to meet for drill competition this sat

Dear drill team + spectators,

We'll meet at NYPS Meeting Point at 830am SHARP for drill competition.

Please note that the bus needs to leave promptly as the journey is far and we cannot afford to be late. We will leave NYPS at 835am latest.

Timing: 830am-2pm
Attire: Come in your full-uniform (remember your sash, belt, name tag! Drill team, please ensure your skirt length reaches the floor when you kneel down. Remember, uniform accounts for 30% of total marks!)
Bring: Water bottle, some snacks
